Testimonials

DAVID H WILLIS, Tournament Director
It has been my pleasure to work with Nitin over the past twelve months or so in the organisation of a series of cricket tournaments based at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi. The tournaments have frequently involved over one hundred players and a dozen teams.

Nitin has acted as the co-ordinator and administrator of these tournaments. He has done a superb job and his attention to detail in the often complex organisation of matches and schedules has been first class. His expertise in information technology, spread sheets and complex illustrations has been very useful and intelligently presented.

While appearing as a mild mannered individual, Nitin has a steely determination to see a job through to the end and he has high standards of delivery in all aspects of his administrative responsibilities. He has an engaging and friendly manner with groups from all races and social classes and mixes easily with a wide range of different nationalities and ethnic groups.

Susheel Kurup, Safety Engineer, Parsons, UAE
“Safety Meter is an excellent and effective tool to measure the site safety. It’s very simple and easy-to-use tool. It is a very positive tool for measuring health and safety at site.To be successful, safety management systems must be measured and safety meter helps to achieve the same. We have implemented it in our ongoing project and it’s giving positive results. In very simple terms it gives the overall picture of site safety. The construction team easily understands and takes action to improve on the lagging categories. In our weekly safety walk with the main contractor, scoring is done as per the agreed criteria and the results are displayed at prominent locations. There was a considerable improvement in site safety after the introduction of this tool. It created a healthy competition between different work areas which in turn improved the overall site safety.”

David McCarthy, Divisional Safety Manager, Al Habtoor Leighton Group, UAE
Nitin’s approach to safety is a welcome change, To develop a simple user friendly system that finally shows the “positive” aspects of safety is long overdue for an industry that has traditionally only published the negatives ( LTI’s).
This positive reinforcement helps repeat performances from sites that have taken the safety meter to heart, which again sees continual improvement.

Trevor van Aurich, Director, JCA Logic, Australia
JCA Project Planning are a specialst planning/scheduling firm providing expert forensic analysis of delays in construction contracts. JCA utilized Nitin to help us with these services for a small period of time and were delighted with his approach and attention to detail. We look forward to dealing with him in some capacity in the future.

Thomas McGuire, Director QHSE & Training, Al Habtoor Leighton Group
Nitin’s research work and dedication to introducing a positive safety measurement tool for the construction industry has greatly assisted in the development programme for a positive safety culture recently introduced in Habtoor Leighton Group. The site safety meter has proven to be both popular and effective in changing the negative lag indicator reporting of accident rates to a “can do” attitude geared towards prevention of incidents. I would highly recommend Nitin’s work to practitioners and academics interested in contributing to a safer construction industry.

David Thatcher, Planning Manager, Murray & Roberts, Middle East
